As loans are repaid (typically in 4 to 6 months) your donation will be recycled at least twice a year. In addition, your donation is loaned to hard-working micro entrepreneurs again and again for decades to come. That’s why it is called the Permanent Fund —your money continues working permanently. And, at the level of poverty at which MicroCredit Enterprises works, your donation funds microloans that typically feed 5 people (2 adults, 3 children).

Choose a contribution level that best suits your resources and your wishes. Whatever you do, it counts. For example, your $500 contribution will fund 2 loans and impact 10 people in the first year alone.

• For as little as $25 your contribution can finance one basic starter microloan.
• Your $100 contribution will finance 4 $50 microloans in the first year.
• Your $500 contribution will finance 200 $50 microloans by the end of 10 years.
• Your $1000 contribution can finance as many as 40 microloans in the first year and 400 microloans over 10 years.
• Your $5000 contribution becomes 4000 microloans over 10 years.
• Your $25,000 contribution in 10 years will provide 50,000 people with new lives of hope because of your single generous act.

The Permanent Fund works with strong local, nonprofit partners in each country to ensure your money is well-managed. As women repay their loans, the Permanent Fund recycles the money into new loans, and larger loans, empowering more and more women to become entrepreneurs.
